I bought the spread thinking it was a vintage design chenille bedspread. It turned out to be an Indian design, which is nice but it doesn’t add to my traditioal style home. Also, I washed it, according to directions, and the color has faded dramatically and the stitching is very poor. I don’t expect it to last beyond a couple more washings. I will say the spread was a very nice color when it arrived and it fits nicely on the bed. No complaints about size, shape.

This bedspread was not what I expected. It was more like a sheet with fluff sewed into it.
Although the shipping was quick and well boxed.

I was looking for a pale blue Chenille bedspread in twin for a child’s room.Interestingly enough, it was the negative reviews I found most helpful in deciding to purchase this item. First, I like stuff made in India,the cotton is super soft and the design is appealing, and secondly, I was looking for a “sheet-like” Chenille spread for the summer. The color is serene, the effect is cottage-like, and it is quite beautiful on the bed. Regarding one rviewer’s comment about too much lint, I like to buy natural materials so am used to the lint factor,it is most at the first wash/dry and to be expected.
